Pidoy is built around one idea: pet data is yours, and it stays on your phone. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not collect.

Who we are

Pidoy is built by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Contact: dev.puhgeh@gmail.com.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Pidoy — pets, photos, notes, schedules, vaccines, medications, vet visits, weight readings, backups — lives in the app's local storage on your phone or tablet. We never upload, copy, or read this data unless you explicitly opt into the optional Cloud Sync subscription (which encrypts your data end-to-end before it leaves your device).

What we collect anonymously

To keep the app stable and improve it, we collect two narrow streams of data, both anonymous and unlinked to any account or identity:

• Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics — stack traces, device model, OS version, app version. No pet data, no notes, no photos.
• Usage analytics via Firebase Analytics — counts of which screens are opened and which actions are taken (e.g. "vaccine added"). No identifiers, no content, no free text. Used purely to understand which features are useful.

You can switch both streams off in Settings → Share anonymous diagnostics. Doing so stops collection going forward — there is nothing identifying to delete from past anonymous events.

Tracking and ads

We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use advertising SDKs. We do not share data with brokers, data partners, or ad networks. Ever.

Children

Pidoy is suitable for general audiences and not directed at children under 13. The app is about tracking pets, not people, and contains no content rated above PEGI 3 / ESRB Everyone.

In-app purchases & subscriptions

Purchases (the one-time app purchase, unlock packs, and the Cloud Sync subscription) are processed by Apple via the App Store or Google via Google Play. We never see your card details. The platform tells the app which products are unlocked; that's all we receive.

Cloud Sync (optional)

If you opt into the Cloud Sync subscription, your pet data is encrypted on your device and uploaded to your personal iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) storage. We never run a server. We never see decrypted data. Cancel at any time and the subscription stops syncing — your local data stays intact.

Backups

The Backup feature in the app exports a single .petbackup file you control. The file lives wherever you save it (Files app, Drive, AirDrop). Pidoy never sees these files leave the device.

Permissions we may ask for

• Notifications — to remind you of medication doses, vaccinations, and feeding times. All scheduled locally; we never send push notifications from a server.
• Photo library — only when you tap to attach a photo to a pet, note, or moment.
• Camera — only if you choose "Take photo" while attaching media.

Your rights

Because we do not store identifying data on a server, there is no account to delete and no profile to download. Uninstalling the app removes all local pet data. The Cloud Sync subscription (if active) can be cancelled in your App Store or Play Store account at any time.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the date above and surface a one-time note inside the app. Trivial wording fixes will simply update the date.
