Where is my pet data stored?
On your device. Pidoy never uploads pet data unless you explicitly opt into the Cloud Sync subscription. Uninstalling the app removes everything.
How do I move data to a new phone?
Open Settings → Backup & restore on the old phone, tap Export backup, and save the .petbackup file somewhere you can reach it (Files, Drive, AirDrop). On the new phone, install Pidoy, open the same screen, and tap Restore backup.
How do reminders work?
Pidoy schedules local notifications on your device. We never send push notifications from a server. Permissions for notifications are requested on first launch; you can review them anytime in iOS Settings or Android Settings.
I can't find an archived pet.
Archived pets live in Settings → Archived pets. Tap Restore on any row and the pet returns to your main list with all its history.
How do I cancel the Cloud Sync subscription?
Through your App Store or Google Play account. Cancellation stops syncing at the end of your current billing period. Your local pet data is unaffected.
Why are anonymous diagnostics on by default?
Crash reports help us fix bugs faster. They contain no identifying information. You can switch them off in Settings → Share anonymous diagnostics.
Does Pidoy give medical advice?
No. Pidoy is a record-keeping tool. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for anything affecting your pet's health.
