Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-04
By installing or using Pidoy you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Pidoy on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute the app, sublicense it, or attempt to reverse-engineer it beyond what local law explicitly allows.
2. Purchases & subscriptions
The base app, in-app unlock packs, and the Cloud Sync subscription are sold through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Refunds, billing, and renewals are handled entirely by those platforms under their own terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your App Store or Play Store account.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Resell, lease, or sublicense Pidoy.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law.
- Use Pidoy to violate the law or anyone's rights.
4. No medical or veterinary advice
Pidoy is a record-keeping tool. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for anything affecting your pet's health.
5. Disclaimer
Pidoy is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Pidoy is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost data, lost time, or harm to a pet related to scheduling reminders.
7. Termination
You may stop using Pidoy at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the app in a way that harms other users or the platform.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be flagged in-app on next launch. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand (the developer's jurisdiction), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
